The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I left Penn State in1943 for World War II and then went to University of Pittsburgh Medical School for my M.D. I did my residency at Pitt in UROLOGY and started practice at Shadyside Hospital in 1953. I was president of medical staff 1981 to 1983. Chief of urology 1965 -1985 then chairman of the dept of surgery from 1987 to 1995. I am still working as editor of scientific medical newsletter and director of quality for the dept. of surgery at UPMC Shadyside. I have had a strong attachment to big game hunting and have collected over one hundred trophy animals from all over the world. I am still playing golf and so far in good health. I have returned many times to the Penn State campus and marvel its size and its accomplishments. I have two children Carol and Robert and four grandchildren, all are well and scattered everywhere. I lost my dear wife in 2002, she also attended Penn State.
